The Geriatric Social Work Education Consortium remains committed to supporting and providing continuing learning to graduate social workers as they enter the geriatric work force following graduation. GSWEC offersprofessionals the opportunity to participate in its Alumni Association, educational activities and social gatherings including social media platforms such at LinkedIn, and through the NEW Stay Connected Alumni Program. GSWEC Alumni Association
The GSWEC Alumni Association exists to promote leadership in aging and maintain a lifelong, active relationship between working professionals in the field of aging. The Alumni Association is fueled by the Alumni Sub-Committee that meets regularly throughout the year to promote Alumni engagement. The sub-committee is responsible for organizing alumni events and building Alumni membership.
